Daytona Woman Arrested For Murder; Victim's Body Found Missing Arms & Legs

Daytona Beach, FL - Update: The Daytona woman who was arrested Thursday for murdering and dismembering a man six months ago was the former girlfriend of the victim, according to police. Daytona Beach Police Chief Craig Capri announced at a Friday press conference that 67-year-old Nelci Tetley, of Daytona, had a history of violence, including stabbing and threatening the victim, Jeffrey Albertsman. Earlier Reporting: A Daytona Beach woman has been arrested for the murder of a man whose body was found six months ago, missing both arms and legs. On July 25, 2017, Daytona Beach Police officers were asked to do a well-being check at 1222 North St. When they got to the home they found the badly decomposed body of a man who had been shot in the head. The body was also missing both arms and legs. The victim's arms and legs were found about two months later in a fernery in western Volusia County. The victim was identified as 55-year-old Jeffrey Albertsman. On Thursday, January 18, 2018, police arrested Nelci Tetley, 67, and charged her with first-degree murder in connection with Albertsman's death. Tetley's being held at the Volusia County jail without bond.
