Daytona State College Among Top 25 In Affordability

Daytona Beach, FL - When it comes to affordability, Daytona State College is among the best.

For the sixth straight year, U.S. News & World Report has placed DSC in the top tier of U.S. schools with the Best Online Bachelor's Programs, ranking number 23 out of 300.

DSC President Tom LoBasso said he hopes that by keeping the tuition cheaper, more students will make it to graduation. He went on to say by keeping costs lower, less students will have to drop out. The public online bachelor's degree programs for in-state students costs just under $92 per credit. That's much less expensive than the average of $305 per credit hour. Daytona State College offers 11 bachelor's programs. Over 5000 students have enrolled since 2013 in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management, Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Technology and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology programs.
