Daytona Beach, FLUpdate: Daytona Beach police have confirmed that  Paul Ferguson, the Ocean Deck manager who is accused of stealing $3,550 from the business, turned himself to law enforcement on February 5. Earlier reporting: Daytona Beach police (DBPD) are searching for an Ocean Deck Restaurant manager who was allegedly caught on surveillance video stealing $3,550 from the business. 41-year-old Paul Ferguson has worked for the Ocean Deck Restaurant in Daytona Beach for 15 years and has been a manager for about three years. On Monday, DBPD says Ferguson was shown on camera pulling into the restaurant parking lot and entering the business lot at 127 S. Ocean Ave. in Daytona just before 6:30 AM. He was driving a 2005 Ford Explorer with tag number EFTB01, according to police records. As a manager, Ferguson knew all the alarm codes and knew the combination for the safe. He was carrying a dark-colored backpack. He walked into the main office, where video surveillance caught him taking money from the office and from the safe.  Approximately $2,550 was taken from the office area, and $1,000 was taken from the safe, according to police reports. Ferguson was scheduled to work at 7 AM the same day of the theft, and he never showed up. The restaurant's owner spoke with police and said he wishes to press charges against Ferguson.
