Daytona Ranked In Top 100 College Cities In US

Daytona Beach, FL - A study of over 400 college cities in the US shows that one metro hub in Volusia County ranks in the top 100.

Daytona Beach, home to Daytona State College, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Bethune Cookman University, ranks 95th out of the 415 college cities canvassed in this recent study from Wallethub, highlighting the best college cities in the country.

Their study based rankings off 30 indicators that included academics, social and economic growth, cost of living, quality of education and crime rates.

Daytona Beach also ranked 42nd out of 200 for best small college cities.

Other Florida cities in their list included Miami and Gainesville, which ranked at 16th and 18th, respectively.

Tampa also ranked 7th overall out of 415 cities. Orlando ranked 2nd overall which included a five-way tie between New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Portland for the number one best nightlife options per capita.

Austin, Texas ranked as the number one college city, according to Wallethub.
