Daytona Beach, FL – Daytona Beach police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a 62-year-old disabled man in Daytona after he helped bring groceries to the disabled man’s apartment.

According to Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD), the 62-year-old man, who is missing his lower leg, allowed the suspect and a woman to help him load his groceries at a Family Dollar located at 200 N Ridgewood Ave. on Sunday afternoon. The disabled man even allowed the pair to follow him to his apartment to help him unload the items.

When the male suspect was inside the 62-year-old man’s apartment on Madison Ave., DBPD says he shoved the disabled man to the ground and stole his wallet. The male suspect fled the apartment. The woman had remained inside the suspect’s vehicle.
