Daytona PD: Stripped Out ATM Found

Daytona Beach, FL – A broken and emptied ATM was found near a set of railroad tracks.

Daytona Beach police responded to the 500 block of Shady Place near the Daytona Beach Golf Club around 11 a.m. Monday morning regarding a witness who found an ATM.

The ATM was broken and seemed to have been emptied of any cash inside.

Daytona police then took the ATM into custody.

DBPD is not investigating this incident as a theft, according to spokesperson Lyda Longa.

Anyone with information about the machine is asked to call DBPD at 386-671-5200.
