Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach Police Department (DBPD) worked with Volusia Mall security to put two criminals in jail Friday. Volusia Mall security officer Lorraine Lagana blocked a mall exit so Jose Fontanilles, 45, who was caught opening credit cards at several stores in the mall under a stolen identity, could not get away. When the police arrived, Fontanilles was charged with several crimes including grand theft, personal identification fraud, organized scheme to defraud and resisting an officer without violence.
