Daytona Beach, FL-Update: A second person has died from injuries in a Sunday night accident. 62-year-old Deborah White of Ponce Inlet died at the hospital this morning.

Earlier reporting follows: Police in Daytona Beach say one person died in an accident Sunday evening on Clyde Morris Boulevard that remains under investigation.

A vehicle driven by 62-year-old Gary Miller, of Ponce Inlet, was eastbound on Hancock Boulevard and tried to make a left turn to go northbound on Clyde Morris. Police say that turn took the vehicle into the path of an oncoming car that hit Miller's vehicle. That vehicle going southbound on Clyde Morris had the right of way. Miller was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, 62-year-old Deborah White of Ponce Inlet, was hospitalized with critical injuries.

The second vehicle was driven by 28-year-old Port Orange resident George Hatzmouratides. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

That happened around 4:49 PM.
