DBPD Undercover Prostitution Sting Nets 6 Arrests

Daytona Beach, FL - A recent prostitution sting resulted in the arrest of six women in Daytona Beach.

On March 12, Daytona Beach police went undercover in unmarked vehicles to various areas in the city known for prostitution. At these locations, the defendants willingly entered the unmarked cars. In some cases, the undercover officer would make an offer and the defendant would accept and, in others, the defendant would be the first to make an offer. All six defendants were arrested without incident after they agreed to exchange money for a sexual act.

The arrests were as follows:

Bay St. & Ridgewood Ave.

  • Defendant: Joy Daniels, 29, of Daytona Beach

After Daniels was arrested, police found two pills, later identified as a Schedule 4 controlled substance, and a glass pipe that was field tested as being positive for cocaine.

Kingston Ave. & Ridgewood Ave.

  • Defendant: Billie Bedillion, 43, of Daytona Beach

After Bedillion was arrested, police found a pushrod and a glass pipe that was field tested as being positive for cocaine.

Fremont Ave. & Ridgewood Ave.

  • Defendant: Kimberly Joyce, 33, of South Daytona

After Joyce was arrested, police found a pushrod and a metal pipe that was field tested as being positive for cocaine.

300 Block of Pierce Ave.

  • Defendant: Lena Cloud,  48, of Holly Hill

Cloud, who has been previously of convicted of prostitution two or more times, was charged with a felony.

Shady Pl. &  S. Ridgewood Ave.

  • Defendant: Tiffani Brock, 27, of Holly Hill

Shady Pl. & Palmetto Ave.

  • Defendant: Melissa Young, 38, of Daytona Beach

Young, who has been previously convicted of prostitution two or more times, was charged with a felony.
