Daytona Beach Man Sentenced To 20 Years For Trafficking Cocaine

revolver drugs cash Florida - A Daytona Beach man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for trafficking cocaine. 65-year-old Madu Jabulani Chinelo, also known as Hennard Harris, was convicted on a felony charge of trafficking in cocaine on February 26 and was sentenced to 20 years in a state prison on Tuesday. Chinello of Cadillac Drive in Daytona will be placed under 2 years of house arrest after he is released in the 2030's. He will then face 8 years of probation following the house arrest sanction. On October 21, 2014, and November 12, 2014, Chinelo trafficked in 54.6 grams of crack cocaine in an undercover operation conducted by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Investigators used a confidential informant to buy the crack cocaine that Chinelo was selling. He was then taken into custody after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Chinelo's priors include 6 felony convictions, including 1 sexual battery, 1 false imprisonment, a robbery, possession of cocaine, and other charges. "This defendant's criminal history shows a disturbing pattern of violence and a blatant disregard for the safety of this community," said State Attorney R.J. Larizza following the sentence.
