Daytona Beach Man Charged In Stabbing

Daytona Beach, FL-Police in Daytona Beach have charged a 53-year-old man with repeatedly stabbing another man in an attack Tuesday.

The suspect is identified as Nathaniel Jones, Jr. who is also known as “Shorty”. He’s 5 foot 2 and weighs 330 pounds according to the police report.

Officer say Jones stabbed Christopher McMillian in a fight. A witness told police McMillian first produced the knife and Jones was able to wrestle it away from him in the incident at 837 Maley Street. The witness said a woman had brought McMillian to the address to fight with Jones.

After the stabbing, the witness said Jones got in his pickup truck and drove away. Police found Jones on South Palmetto Avenue. He was taken into custody and charged.

McMillian was being treated at Halifax Hospital for multiple stab wounds.
