Davis Says Campbell Baker Is Frontrunner For CVB Executive Job

Daytona Beach, FL-The Halifax Area Advertising Authority meets Tuesday for a budget workshop at the Daytona Beach Resort and may vote to choose the next executive director of the Daytona Beach Convention and Visitor's Bureau. Bob Davis, head of the Lodging and Hospitality Association of Volusia County, thinks longtime local tourism official Lori Campbell Baker is the frontrunner for the post. Davis said that in an interview with Daytona's Morning News though he said was not at the Friday meeting when the Executive Search Committee met to consider the four finalists. Campbell Baker is now the CVB's director of public relations. The interviewees Friday including Campbell Baker and the following finalists: Kym Hughes-executive director of Fayetteville Advertising & Promotions Commission in Arkansas. Jason Outman-executive director of the Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau in Columbia, South Carolina.
