St. Augustine, FL - The trial continues in St. Augustine for the Deltona man accused of killing his wife and her two children as the court heard testimony from the wife's professed lover and a Volusia County deputy who investigated the case. Prosecutors say Luis Toledo, 35, killed 28-year-old Yessenia Suarez (his wife) and her children, Thalia Otto, 9, and Michael Otto, 8, who went missing from their Deltona home in October of 2013. On Thursday, the court heard testimony from Kevin Dredden, the man who admitted to having an affair with Suarez. Dredden told the court that the day before Suarez disappeared, Toledo confronted her about the affair where she worked at American K9. A Volusia County deputy, Wayne Miller, who questioned Toledo after his wife went missing, also testified on Thursday. Miller said that when he arrived at Toledo's home in Deltona, the home smelt heavily of cleaning agent. Toledo told Miller that he had not recently cleaned the home.
