Couple Steals Diamond Ring Worth $27K From Zales Jewelry Store In Volusia Mall

Daytona Beach, FL - Police are looking for the man and woman who stole a 2 carat diamond ring worth $27,000 from the Zales Jewelry Store at the Volusia Mall on Sunday. According to the Daytona Beach Police Department, an unknown black man and woman went into the Zales Jewelry Store in the mall at around 2 PM and asked to see the 2 carat diamond ring, which is estimated to be worth about $27,000. After looking at the ring, the two left and then came back a short time later to look at the ring again. As the salesman was holding the ring in his hand the black man snatched it and ran away from the store. Witnesses say the suspects then got into a white SUV and drove away from the mall.
