County Says To Expect Votran Service Delays & Disruptions Due To Speedweeks Traffic

By on February 13, 2018 in WNDB News

Volusia County, FL – The County is reminding residents that heavy traffic during Speedweeks will likely cause delays, interruptions, and route deviations to Votran bus service.

Beginning on Thursday, February 15, through Sunday, February 18, detours for certain routes will be in place. Buses may be rerouted to secondary roads without notice during times of traffic congestion.

Deviations and schedule adjustments will occur for routes that service the Daytona International Speedway area, such as Routes 10, 11, 18, and 19. Service to Daytona Beach International Airport, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and the Daytona Beach Flea Market will be suspended.

Those planning on using Votran services are asked to plan their trips ahead. For updated information, alerts, and bus-tracking, head to Votran.org.
