Daytona Beach, FL- The results of several town hall meetings about health issues will be the topic at a meeting Tuesday. Community representatives will address key local health issues at a public meeting.

Some of the priorities in Volusia County include adult behavioral health, youth mental health, barriers to health care services, healthy eating and physical activity, and chronic disease - cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.

The goal of the meeting is a draft of the County's community health improvement plan, which the community will be asked to approve. New plans are completed by county health departments at least every five years.

The meeting begins at 8:30 a.m. and takes place at the Florida Department of Health’s (DOH) Daytona Beach location, located at 1845 Holsonback Drive.
