Coast Guard Medevacs Unconscious Woman Near Disappearing Island

Ponce Inlet, FL-An unconscious woman near Disappearing Island was medevacked to an area hospital by the US Coast Guard Sunday afternoon. The Coast Guard responded just after 2 PM when the 39-year-old woman was reported to be unconscious. A boat from the USCG Station Ponce De Leon was in the area and diverted to the scene. The woman was taken from Ponce Inlet by EMS to Halifax Hospital for treatment. No other details were immediately available.   2016 Southern Stone Communications
