Coast Guard Looking For Owner Of Kayak Found Adrift Near New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna Beach, FL-An empty kayak found adrift near New Smyrna Beach Saturday prompted a search for the owner as officials say there are no reports of any missing boaters. The red and yellow kayak is a Pyranaha  with HIN number JBBNJDXK304.

The report of the kayak adrift was made around 2 PM Saturday and two USCG boats and a USCG helicopter from Clearwater searched the area with nothing found. New Smyrna Beach Patrol, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Volusia County Sheriff’s Office crews also searched the area.
