Palm Coast, FL - A Bunnell man was arrested on Wednesday after he crashed a stolen Maserati into some bushes.

Flagler County Sheriff's Deputies were called to a home at 17 Pine Crest Lane in Palm Coast at about 12:38 PM on Wednesday in reference to possible gunshots. Deputies checked the vacant home but found no evidence of a gun being fired. 2 vehicles, which were later determined to be stolen, were parked at the home.

Witnesses said they saw 2 black men run out of the house and drive away in those vehicles at high speeds. A red Maserati that had been stolen in Orlando crashed into some bushes at the intersection of White Mill Dr and Whiteview Pkwy after the driver, identified as 21-year-old Jaquadis Johnson of Bunnell, lost control.

Johnson fled the area on foot and deputies and a K9 unit tracked him through yards and behind homes before finding and arresting him at the corner of Wheatfield Dr and Wheeler Ln.

Johnson's been charged with grand theft auto, resisting arrest without violence, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Johnson wasn't hurt and deputies weren't able to find the 2nd suspect and vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.
