Bomb Threat Clears Dunkin' Donuts Shop In DeLand

UPDATE (02-12-19): Officers are re-opening the area after no bomb was found.
Earlier reporting below. DeLand, FL - The DeLand Police Department has evacuated a Dunkin' Donuts on South Woodland Boulevard after receiving a bomb threat at that location. The restaurant is located on the corner of Woodland and West New Hampshire Avenue, just south of the Rodeo Whip ice cream parlor. The parking lot has also been cleared and the public is being asked to stay away.
The roads in the immediate area will be closed for some time, according to DeLand police spokesperson Chris Graham. "The Dunkin' Donuts at 1298 South Woodland Boulevard received a call about 11:45 a.m. (today) about bombs going off at the location," Graham added. "Detectives and a K-9 unit are responding to the scene." We'll update this story as more becomes available.
