Daytona Beach, FL - In its 2017 list of the nation's best Historically Black Colleges & Universities, the U.S. News & World Report ranked Bethune-Cookman University number 24.
The list of 80 ranked institution is based on graduation and retention, peer assessment, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources, and alumni giving. B-CU was also ranked as 1 of the top liberal arts colleges and engineering programs.
“We are continuously ascending to greatness at B-CU and I am very proud of the work that we are doing,” said President Edison Jackson. “I do believe that one day B-CU will top the list!”
B-CU has about 4,000 students currently enrolled - a record high for the school.
