Volusia County, FL-After any tragedy or natural disaster, Americans want to help out. The Better Business Bureau of Central Florida is warning about scammers popping up trying to take advantage of the mass shooting in Orlando and efforts to help families of victims and the shooting survivors.

Holly Sammons, the CEO of the Central FL BBB, says beware of "clickbait" that uses live links inside charity solicitations to grab your personal information. Sammons says take your time and check out the charity, adding, "If the money is needed today, it will be needed a week from now".

Never give your credit card, password or other personal information. Find the website connected to the link and make your donation there.
