Daytona Beach, FL- Arson is the word being used by officials about a predawn fire that took place at Action Jet Ski and Boat Rental today.  The huge blaze destroyed the business located on Sickler Road in Daytona Beach.

Officials stapled a sign with the word “arson” followed by “cash reward” to the burnt-out building located just west of the Seabreeze Boulevard bridge.

Area fire crews and helicopters arrived on scene around 2:30 A.M. A fire department spokesperson reported that no one was injured in the blaze that was completely out by 6:35 A.M.

The many chemicals stored in the building, like acetone, butane and gasoline, likely added to the blaze.

The rental business is owned by New Smyrna Beach resident Allen Weinberg.

Officials are asking anyone with knowledge of the cause to come forward. You can contact the Bureau of Fire and Arson at 386-323-0904.
