Arrest Made in DeLand December Fatal Accident

jail prison jump suit DeLand, FL-A man has been arrested and charged in a fatal vehicle accident that happened in DeLand on December 27, 2015. Todd William Hallam faces 11 charges in total, including vehicular homicide, DUI causing death to a human, DUI causing serious bodily injury to another, reckless driving with serious bodily injury and reckless driving. The investigation into the accident that took the life of Owen Gray Junior has been ongoing. Toxicology results show that Hallam had a blood alcohol level three times the legal limit .08. He also tested positive for cannabis and ecstasy. Calculations by the investigating officer show that Hallam was traveling at about 75 mph when he rear-ended the stopped vehicle of Gray at the intersection of Orange Camp Road and Martin Luther King Junior Beltway. Gray was pronounced dead at the scene, His passenger, Donneill Davis, suffered serious injuries. Hallam is in the Volusia County Jail. No bond has been set. Todd William Hallam
