Armed Burglars Break Into Occupied Home, Steal AR-15 As 4-Year-Old Watches

Deltona, FL - The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for two suspects who burglarized an occupied home and stole an AR-15 rifle as a 4-year-old boy watched.

According to VCSO, it was around 10:06 PM on May 4 when the two suspects broke into the home at 1432 Hollyhock St. in Deltona. The man who lives there had gone outside to walk his dog, but his girlfriend was inside asleep and his 4-year-old son was in the living room. When the burglars got inside, they motioned at the child to be quiet then they stole the AR-15. Surveillance images show that one of the suspects was carrying a handgun.

VCSO says both suspects are men, one is about 6 feet tall and skinny, the other is around 5'6" and skinny. Both were wearing black hoodies and had their faces covered.
