Archaeologist To Address 'Odd Happenings' At DeBary Library

DeBary, FL-Archaeologist Emily Murray will discuss Florida’s long history of odd

behaviors, interesting characters and fierce natural environments at 2

p.m. Saturday, May 7, at DeBary Hall Historic Site, 198 Sunrise Blvd.,

DeBary.

Murray, a member of the Florida Public Archaeology Network, will share

stories of native hunters and gatherers, runaway slaves, and oil barons

in the Sunshine State.

The free program is part of the Lemonade Lectures series, which is

sponsored by the Enterprise Historical Conservancy and Volusia County.

Light refreshments and lemonade will be served.
