Another Ormond Beach Convenience Store Robbery Has Link To “Batman”

Ormond Beach, FL-Another convenience store attempted robbery at knife point in Ormond Beach may be linked to a suspect in recent similar crimes who was wearing a Batman mask. In the Friday robbery, the suspect was reportedly wearing a sweatshirt with a Batman logo and a cartoon character mask.

Police say the suspect, described as a white male in his 20’s, entered the Sunshine Express store around 7:07 PM Friday night. The suspect was wearing dark clothing and a mask. He showed the clerk a small black knife and demanded money. The clerk screamed and alerted the store manager. The suspect left the store on foot.

The store is locked at 1520 North US 1.
