Another Flight Pattern Change Coming To DBIA

Daytona Beach, FL - Another flight pattern change is scheduled for Daytona Beach International Airport.

Officials at the county-run airport announced they're beginning the next phase of the taxiway rehabilitation project, this time the main east/west runway will be closing.

The closure begins on Sunday (October 7th) and will continue for approximately 15 days.

Officials say that the closure will not affect airline operations, but it will affect flight patterns. Neighboring businesses and communities around DBIA may notice an increase in north-south flight traffic during the closure.

This is part of a two year project that began in April to rehabilitate several taxiways, including the primary air carrier taxiway.
