Port Orange, FL- An anonymous tip led to the arrest of a suspect in a Port Orange Dollar General robbery earlier this week. Lieutenant Kim Kilpatrick reports the tip named 42-year-old Travis Heidinger as the suspect.

Further investigation found that Heidinger could be at the Stewart Marchman Center in Daytona Beach. Port Orange Police found a vehicle in the parking lot matching the description of the one used in the robbery. It was registered to Heidinger. He was arrested after confessing to the robbery.

The stolen money has not been located and detectives are waiting for a search warrant for the vehicle. Heidinger is charged with robbery without a firearm and violating probation.
