Missing Port Orange Teen Found On Merritt Island

Volusia County, FL - 11/18/16 9:30 PM Update: 13-year-old Carlos Patterson of Port Orange was found by the Brevard County Sheriff's Office on Merritt Island on Friday night. The vehicle stolen near Creekside Middle School, where Patterson was last seen on Thursday, has not yet been located. Update: Police say Carlos Patterson was last seen at Creekside Middle School around 2:30 PM on Thursday. The 13-year-old has a history  of running away and stealing vehicles, and he's been diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, autism, ADHD, hypertension, and has a kidney infection. Police are investigating the theft of a Chevy Malibu stolen from across the street from Creekside Middle School. Earlier Reporting: An Amber Alert was issued early today for a 13-year-old boy missing from Port Orange. Carlos Patterson was last seen Thursday in the area of the 6800 block of Airport Road. He may be traveling in a 2002 dark green Chevy Malibu with FL tag K429AF. The vehicle has a faded bumper and has a barcode sticker in the rear passenger door window. He was last seen wearing a gray Polo shirt, gray pants and silver reflective shoes with black laces. He's 5'9" tall and weighs 206 lbs.
