Daytona Beach, FL - It was nice while it lasted.

Now your wallet will feel a little more pain when it's time to fill up thanks in part to rising crude oil prices, even though demand is relatively low nationally by winter standards.

AAA says gasoline prices are going up across the Daytona Beach metro area, according to its latest report.

A gallon of regular now averages $2.21, six cents higher than last week.

In Volusia, the regular gas average is also $2.21, while Flagler is at $2.20.

Florida's regular gas average is $2.22. Nationally, it's $2.25.

Four-cent increases have also been recorded locally with mid-grade and premium gas in the past week, while diesel prices have basically flat-lined, per AAA.
