Daytona Beach Shores, FL - Update: The man who died swimming at a Daytona Beach Shores beach has been identified as Jimmy Williams of Port Orange.

A 65-year-old man from Port Orange died while swimming at the beach at Daytona Beach Shores on Sunday.
According to Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue, a little before 1 PM in the 2800 block of the beach in Daytona Beach Shores, the man and his friend were swimming in waist-deep water when the friend turned around and saw the man unresponsive, face-down in the waves. Beach Safety responded with CPR, and the man was transported to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at 1:28 PM.
The man's name has not yet been released, and the death is still under investigation. The exact reason for the man's death is still unconfirmed.
