6 Women Arrested By DBPD In Prostitution Sting

Daytona Beach, FL – 6 women were arrested on Thursday in a Daytona Beach Police Department prostitution operation.

An undercover officer posing as a “John” approached of each of these women on September 15 and asked for sex acts in exchange for money. 35-year-old Bobbie S. Strausbaugh of Daytona Beach, 47-year-old Shannon Taylor Williams of South Daytona, 31-year-old Tina L. Call of Daytona Beach, 31-year-old Patrisha L. Davis of Daytona Beach, 42-year-old Jennifer Kristain Smith of New Smyrna, and 48-year-old Gina M. Gallagher of Daytona Beach all agreed to perform sex acts in exchange for money then were taken into custody.

When the “John” asked Call if she was a police officer, she said no and exposed her right breast. While handcuffed she resisted and tried to run away.

Call and Gallagher are also facing charges related to possession of cocaine (felony) and paraphernalia. Strausbaugh is facing a misdemeanor charge for possession and use of narcotic paraphernalia.

Gallagher has 2 prior prostitution charges, so she’s facing a felony prostitution charge.
