4 Teens Arrested In Port Orange For Armed Carjacking

Port Orange, FL – 4 teens were arrested in Port Orange on Monday night for carjacking someone at gunpoint.

The carjacking happened at about 9:50 PM at the Sunset Cove Apartments near Clyde Morris Blvd and Beacon Hill Rd. A Daytona Beach Police officer spotted the suspect’s car and the stolen vehicle a short time later and a multi-agency pursuit ended when both vehicles crashing in different locations.

The occupants of both vehicles were taken into custody. Neither the suspects nor the officers involved suffered any significant injuries. The victim wasn’t hurt during the carjacking either and all their stolen property has been recovered.

Atravion J. Virgil and Tyrell J. Stewart, both 18-years-old, and 2 juvenile boys were arrested and charged with carjacking.
