Florida - 4 Palm Coast residents were in the car that hit and killed a pedestrian who was sitting in the road in St. Johns County.

According to FHP, it was around 2:10 AM on Sunday when that man was hit on US-1, north of Walkers Clay Drive. Jason Michael Shoemaker (39 years old), Kevin Scott Losoncy (40), Amber Amanda Shoemaker (38), and Danielle Renee Losoncy (42), all of Palm Coast, were in the 2013 Soul Kia that hit the man, who hasn't been identified yet. It's not known why he was sitting in the road.

A few moments after that initial collision, a 2012 Kisa Sorrento driven by 53-year-old Michael David Nestved of Casselberry came through and hit the pedestrian, who was still in the road.

Other than the pedestrian who died, no one was hurt.

Both vehicles remained on scene until Law Enforcement arrived. The case is still active and the investigation is ongoing.
