3 Women Arrested For Daytona Shoplifting Spree, Stole $7.5K In Merchandise

Daytona Beach, FL - A trio of women were arrested in Daytona Beach on Monday evening after going on a shoplifting spree and stealing thousands in merchandise at the Volusia Mall and Tanger Outlets. Ronisha Lashea Toliver, age 24, Raven Wimbush, age 26, and Earnisha Williams, age 23, were arrested by Daytona Beach police at 10 PM after stealing a total of at least $7,500 in merchandise. The Volusia Mall was even put on lock-down in an attempt to stop them. Police first responded to Tanger Outlets at 1100 Cornerstone Blvd., where a security guard reported three women going from store to store with empty handbags and empty plastic shopping bags. One of the stores the trio hit was The Gap, and a Gap associate even confronted Williams about a rolled-up shirt stuffed underneath her own shirt. Williams responded that "it was a colostomy bag." The trio then moved to International Speedway, where two of the women were seen stealing bottles of tequila from Total Wine. Wimbush was with the other two, but she did not actively steal any alcohol. At the Volusia Mall, the three stole more than $2,000 in merchandise from Old Navy and bags full of perfumes and fragrances from Sephora. According to the police report, there were six stores in all which the defendants stole from. The names of the stores and the amount of merchandise stolen from each are below:
  • Gap Outlet, Tanger Outlets- $1157.20
  • Osh Gosh, Tanger Outlets- $102.00
  • Total Wine, Speedway- $349.92
  • Old Navy, Speedway- $2,585.61
  • Victoria's Secret, Volusia Mall- $153.21
  • Sephora, Volusia Mall- over $3,000
According to the police report, there were also bags of other merchandise  in the backseat of one of the defendant's vehicles from various other stores that could not be identified as stolen. These stores included Aeropostale, Gymboree, Tommy Hilfiger, Carter's, Babies R Us, Bed Bath and Beyond, Hobby Lobby, and the Big Lots department store. All three women were charged with Felony Retail Theft. Toliver was charged with Grand Theft, and the other two women were charged with Principal to Grand Theft. According to jail records, Williams and Wimbush are both being held on $30,000 bail each, and Toliver is being held without bail.
