Sanford, FL – A 21-year-old Deltona man was killed in a single-vehicle wreck that occurred in Sanford on Monday morning, and charges are pending against the Orange City man who was driving the vehicle.

The wreck occurred at 6:25 AM Monday along State Rd. 417 at mile marker 50 in Sanford. 21-year-old Lemuel Humphrey, of Deltona, was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by 22-year-old Tyler Courtney, of Orange City.

The pickup truck was traveling southbound along State Rd. 417 in the right lane. According to reports from Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Courtney made a lane change into the left lane and lost control of the truck. He then overcorrected, traveled back to the right, and struck a pole. The truck overturned.
