200 Middle & HS Band Students Set To Perform In 44th Annual Showcase

DeLand, FL – More than 200 middle and high school students from Volusia County Schools will participate in the 44th annual All-County Band Music Showcase held at DeLand High School.

Mr. Gary Bottomley from Merritt Island will be conducting the middle school band, while the high school band will be conducted by Dr. Hubert Toney, Jr., Director of Band at the University of Tampa.  The showcase is set to feature musical selections from multiple cultures and spanning hundreds of years.

The showcase will be held Saturday, January 28th, at DeLand High School, 800 N. Hill Ave.  The concert is open to the public, and there is no admission charge.
