“This is a significant accomplishment since this is only their second year playing,” said Steve Brandt, Sheriff’s Commander and Flagler Warrior’s founder. “I’m proud of the hard work and dedication these kids put into their training and their classes.” This year, 4 Flagler Warriors teams qualified for the playoffs, with 2 teams making it to the championships. The Gainesville Rattlers remain undefeated and are expected to move onto nationals after winning the regional championships, making the Flagler Warriors the underdog team. Other teams participating in the championship will represent Palatka, and Ormond Beach. “Come out and support our youth,” said Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly. “They’ve done a great job making it to playoffs and now to the championship game. Let’s show them our support.”
