beer can in grass drunk Daytona Beach, FL - Police in Daytona arrested 2 men from Crescent City who were involved in a road rage incident where beer cans were thrown and the driver deliberately crashed into another vehicle. According to the police report, 21-year-old Roberto Gonzalez was driving a Toyota pickup truck early Sunday morning with 18-year-old Rodrigo Ramirez in the passenger seat. It was around 3 AM when Michael Conway said the pickup being driven by Gonzales cut him off in the 1300 block of Mason Ave. When Conway pulled up next to the pickup Ramirez flicked him off. When both vehicles stopped at a red light Conway told the pair from Crescent City to "chill out," and in response Ramirez threw a beer at him. Conway told police that he then sped off to get away but the pickup followed and another beer was thrown. This one broke the rear window of Conway's vehicle. Conway slammed on his breaks hoping the pickup would pass, but Gonzalez stopped next to him and then a full can of Bud Light was thrown, hitting Conway in the face. Conway told police he tried to drive away again and Gonzalez slammed into his vehicle. A witness called the police about the pickup after it blew a tire and was forced to stop. Conway was brought to the scene of the traffic stop and possitively IDed Gonzalez and Ramirez. That's when they were arrested. Gonzalez was charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon and Ramirez was charged with throwing a deadly missile. Both were brought to the Volusia County Jail and have since posted bail, which was set at $5,000 each. gonzalez
