Orlando, FL - 16 people - including 13 Volusia or Flagler residents - are indicted by the federal government for their alleged roles in a "large" Central Florida methamphetamine distribution operation. United States Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez unsealed three indictments earlier today which revealed all the charges, according to a local spokesman with the U.S. Department Of Justice. Click on the Twitter post below for the names of all involved and the charges they're facing.
DOJ officials also tell us members of the Pagans Motorcycle Club were involved in the operation, a group considered an outlaw gang. Federal officials did not identify which of the arrested, if any, are Pagans members. Ten of the indicted are from Volusia and three others are from Flagler. Five of the ones in Volusia are Daytona Beach residents, with two others living in Oak Hill and the rest from New Smyrna Beach, Ormond Beach and Port Orange. Two of the Flagler people indicted are from Palm Coast and the other is a Bunnell resident. Everyone who has been indicted is facing a maximum penalty of life in prison if convicted, with the exceptions of Sann and Stringer. They're looking at a max of 40 years. All the indicted are looking at a charge of conspiracy to distribute meth, most above 50 grams, while others are also facing a charge of distrubuting meth. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Volusia Bureau of Investigation, Volusia County Sheriff’s Office and Daytona Beach Police Department were all involved in the investigation, per DOJ.
