Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach Police Department says 15 women and one man were arrested on Wednesday in a prostitution sting that was focused on the east side of Daytona Beach.
Undercover officers were operating in an area of the city that police say is known for prostitution. The sting was centered on the area between Ridgewood Ave. and the Main St. Bridge. Several of the suspects asked the undercover officers to prove they were not cops, including one woman who asked an undercover agent to grab her exposed breast.
Some of the women agreed to engage in sexual acts in exchange for payments between $20 and $50. One woman said she had only been a prostitute for only a few months, but that she needed "fast money," according to arrest reports. Six of the suspects have previous prostitution charges.

Narehood, Barnett, and Medina also had drug charges added to their prostitution charges as a result of the undercover sting.
