1 Of 2 Pilots Killed In Wake Of Charlottesville Violence Was An Embry-Riddle Grad

Daytona Beach, FL - One of the two pilots killed in a helicopter crash in the wake of violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend was an Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University alumnus.

Virginia State Trooper Lt. Henry Jay Cullen, 48, was killed on August 12. He was a 1991 graduate of Embry-Riddle's Daytona Beach campus.

ERAU has released the following statement: "The entire Embry-Riddle community's thoughts are with his family and friends at this difficult and sad times."
