DeLand, FL - Other central Florida school districts are doing it already and the Volusia County School District (VCS) is trying to get a COVID-19 vaccine clinic set up for their employees over the age of 65.

VCS spokesperson Kelly Schulz confirmed today (January 19) that they are working with the Department of Health-Volusia to make it happen but no dates have been set up yet.

The vaccinations will be done by appointment only.

Schulz said "VCS employees who are 65 and older will be contacted via their district email with their slotted appointment time and location. You will be asked to show the email at the vaccine site, so please print it or take a screenshot of it on your phone to show at the time of your appointment.
