Vaccinations For 65 & Older In Deltona This Week - Pre-registration Required

Volusia County officials ask for the publics patience and understanding as we continue to distribute the vaccine as efficiently as possible and just as quickly as it’s received.

Deltona, FL - A COVID-19 vaccination event is scheduled in Deltona  this Thursday and Friday, January 7th and 8th. Pre-registration is required and online registration opens at 3 p.m. today (January 5) at volusiacountyc19deweyoboster.eventbrite.com 

If you don't have access to the internet, you can call 866-345-0345 for assistance scheduling an appointment until registrations have reached capacity for this event. Calls will be answered as they come in so you may have to try calling several times. Volusia County Public Libraries have internet-accessible computers available for free use. Should an inclement weather event happen, registrants will be notified in advance.

The vaccinations will be administered between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at Dewey O. Boster Sports Complex, 1200 Saxon Blvd. in Deltona. Only the Moderna vaccine will be provided at this drive-through site.

One thousand appointments will be available each day and are available in one hour timeslots. Once a timeslot is full, appointments will no longer be available during that timeslot with a maximum of two registrations per transaction. 

You must have an appointment to receive a vaccine and should arrive at the site during the hour which your appointment is scheduled. Because of limited capacity, you're encouraged to not arrive prior to your confirmed timeframe.  If you do not have an appointment, you will not get the vaccine.

There is a traffic plan in place. Vehicles must enter the site via a right turn from Saxon Boulevard; left turns into the entrance will not be permitted. Vehicles must exit via Section Line Trail; no entrance on Section Line Trail will be available.

The second dose of the vaccine will be scheduled for 28 days from the first. You should plan to return to the site then for the second dose. Individuals may not report to a different site for their second dose. When returning to the site, DOH-Volusia will only offer the second dose of the vaccine.

The event is a partnership with the County of Volusia and the Florida Department of Health in Volusia County. (DOH-Volusia) There is no charge for COVID-19 vaccines through this program.
