U.S. Representative Mike Waltz Shares Information On The Stimulus Package

Posted

Daytona Beach, FL - The first checks are set to go out next week from the $2.2 trillion stimulus package passed by Congress. U.S. Representative Mike Waltz, during a Town Hall on the Marc Bernier Show yesterday (April 8), explained who is eligible for that money. "As long as you are making under $75,000 as an individual or $150,000 as a couple, you receive a stimulus check of $1,200 per person and $500 for each dependent child.

Waltz also responded to the question: what about those who have not filed taxes in recent years. "The IRS is reaching over to Social Security Adminstration and the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Treasury has decided that it would be faster to reach out to those agencies  to pull in people's direct deposit information."

During a phone call from a listener, Waltz was asked what he thought about the coronavirus being created in China. "The Chinese have developed an offensive bio-weapon capability that should frighten all of us. I am not saying that the coronvirus was done deliberately but they have developed the capability to do this, should they so choose as part of warfare." He went on to say, "If the evidence comes forward that the Chinese Communist Party deliberately introduced this as part of an offensive bio-attack, then I would strongly consider that an act of war."
