
Palm Coast, FL - A former Palm Coast star high school football player charged with ten felonies, will go before a jury next month.
Phillip Haire Jr. was 19 when he committed the felonies, which include shooting up his parents Palm Coast home in 2017. Haire, now 21, rejected a proposed plea deal of a 25 to 30-year sentence, despite advice from his attorney to take it.
Circuit Court Judge Terence Perkins rejected motions to separate some of the charges for a second trial and another suggesting Haire was not fully cognizant of his actions during the crimes. set Haire’s trial for Nov. 13.
Haire has been held at the Flagler County Detention Center since May 3, 2017. His trial is set for Nov. 13.
