Daytona Beach, FL - Some testing sites have closed but there are new sites opening-up. Some are only testing for COVID-19 or the anti-bodies and some are testing for both.
Tomorrow, a new drive-thru location for COVID-19 testing opens in Orange City at University High School. The site is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. or until kits are gone.
Daytona Beach Mayor Derrick Henry posted on his Facebook page that a walk-up COVID-19 testing site will take place sometime this week at the Midtown Cultural & Educational Center. There's no cost but you do need a Florida I.D.
Antibody testing is ongoing at the Volusia County Fairgrounds on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. or they reach capacity. Appointments are not required.
Other locations, what type of testing and the costs can all be found at volusia.org.
