SunRail Providing Extra Service For Pulse Commemoration Events

Orlando, FL - For those headed to Orlando to attend events marking the one-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub shooting, SunRail is providing extra service. SunRail in Orlando will hold an extra night train service Monday night to accommodate travelers. It's all part of Orlando United Day- A Day of Love and Kindness, which the community, the city of Orlando, and Orange County organized to commemorate the victims of the Pulse night club shooting. All regularly scheduled trains will run, in addition to a train running southbound out of Church St. at 9:47 PM and a train running northbound from the Sand Lake Road station at 10:15 PM. Below are a few things you keep in mind if you wish to use the extra service:
  • The southbound train stops at Orlando Health and Sand Lake Road stations.
  • The northbound train stops at all stations on the way to the DeBary station, arriving at DeBary at 11:18 PM.
  • All regular fares apply.

SunRail’s transit partner, LNYX is also offering special service. For more information, go to www.golynx.com. Also, Florida Department of Transportation is coordinating with City of Orlando and Orange County to postpone any construction activities that may impact travel tonight in Downtown Orlando.
