Posted

Sean Mooney, a Volusia County native, grew up with a love of music and a love of radio. At a young age, he took inspiration from his father and the legends of the airwaves like Casey Kasem, Dan Ingram and Howard Stern to help drive his dream of working on the air. Sean graduated from Seabreeze High School in 2016, the same school where he marched with the Seabreeze Marching 100 and played with the Seabreeze Symphonic Band, Jazz Band and Orchestra. After high school, Sean found himself in Daytona State College's broadcast program where he began to work towards his dream career in radio. While attending DSC, Sean joined the ranks of WNDB as a board operator before working his way up to become a producer, news reporter and an on-air personality. Since then, Sean graduated from Daytona State with an Associate's degree in Broadcast Production and continues to serve the Volusia and Flagler communities with News Daytona Beach.
